Thank you for choosing Pietschy Photography. Each piece I create is printed just for you using museum-quality materials and eco-conscious methods. My goal is for your art to feel meaningful, inspiring, and deeply personal. If something isn’t quite right, I’m here to help.
Your Right to Cancel an Order
If you are shopping from within the European Union, you usually have the legal right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.
This right applies to standard products purchased online, including standard art prints and wall calendars offered in the shop, even when they are printed on demand after your order is placed.

After you have informed me that you wish to cancel, you must return the item within 14 days.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
This may include, for example:

Custom photo products using a customer’s own image

Products with personalised text, names, dates, or other custom details

Bespoke edits, custom crops, or specially requested designs that are not part of the standard shop options

Any product produced according to unique specifications provided by the customer
Standard size, format, paper, or framing options offered in the shop are not treated as personalised unless clearly stated otherwise.
This does not affect your legal rights if your item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, incorrect, or not as described.
Returning Standard Products
If you return a standard product under the 14-day right of withdrawal, the item must be returned unused, undamaged, and, where possible, in its original protective packaging.

For change-of-mind returns under the 14-day withdrawal right, you are responsible for the return shipping costs and the risk of loss during return shipping. I recommend using an insured and trackable shipping method.
Damaged, Defective, Misprinted, or Incorrect Items
I take great care in both the production and packaging of every order. However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, incorrect, or with a production flaw, you are entitled to a suitable solution in line with your consumer rights.
This may include a replacement, repair where appropriate, or refund.

Clear photos of the issue, such as damage to the packaging, print imperfections, or printing errors

A short description of the problem
Once reviewed, I will arrange an appropriate solution. If the issue is confirmed to be due to damage, defect, misprint, production error, fulfilment error, or delivery issue, you will not be charged for the replacement or approved return shipping.
The 7-day request helps me resolve issues quickly with the print provider or shipping carrier. It does not limit any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
Refunds
If you cancel a standard product under the 14-day right of withdrawal, I will refund the product price and the standard delivery costs originally paid for the order, where required by law.
Refunds will be issued using your original payment method within 14 days after I receive the returned item, or after you provide proof that you have sent it back.
I may reduce the refund if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, or if it is returned damaged.
Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are paid by the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
If the item is damaged, defective, misprinted, incorrect, or not as described, you will not be responsible for reasonable return shipping costs where a return is required.
Sustainability Note
Every item is printed just for you. This made-on-demand approach reduces waste and avoids unnecessary overproduction. Returns generate additional carbon emissions and material use, so I encourage mindful purchases whenever possible.
Please review your order carefully before placing it, including the image, size, product type, paper or material, quantity, and shipping details. If you are unsure about a size, paper type, or need a recommendation, feel free to contact me before purchasing.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit once the return or refund request is approved.
If the gift was purchased by someone else and sent to them first, the refund will normally be issued to the original purchaser using the original payment method.
