I am the photographer behind Pietschy Photography. For years I was searching for the right path, keeping photography on the sidelines while I explored other paths, searching for the right fit yet nothing ever felt truly mine. When the world slowed during the pandemic, I decided to stop searching and start creating. Photography became more than a passion. It became my way of exploring cities, feeling their atmosphere, and expressing what I saw by turning those moments into Fine Art Photography.
A Moment That Changed Everything
But my story with photography began on a rainy night in October 2009. Feeling restless and stuck, I wandered through the soaked city streets, where golden light from the streetlamps shimmered on wet pavement. Something about those reflections pulled me in. I started taking photos, one after another, until my memory card was full and my heart felt even fuller. That night, without realizing it, I had found the art form I had been searching for all along.

To me, photography is about emotion, not perfection. I slow down, notice details, and honor the quiet beauty in everyday moments. Back in my studio, I carefully curate and edit the work, pairing images with reflective writing that shapes its story and atmosphere. This slow, intentional process can take hours for a single piece.
