A way to go

Humans have many things in common, but we still differ in multiple aspects. Nevertheless, the same demands are frequently made on different people. At times, the consequences are unfulfilled expectations that, in many cases, equate to failure.

Although not everyone wants to be like others, we regularly measure others the way they do with us. But if you are honest with yourself, it is legit if it takes you just a little longer to go one way, if, in the end, you will get there anyway.

Spring in Amsterdam’s Amstelpark

You can see Narcissuses, cyclists, and pedestrians in  Amsterdam’s Amstelpark in this photo.  I took this photo in spring 2021 on the first really hot day of the season. People were all over the city because the winter had made them long for the sun and being outside.

The Amstelpark is one of the most beautiful places in Amsterdam and is incredibly stunning in springtime. The flowers are in bloom, the trees are starting to green, and the sun is out more often than not. It's the perfect place to take a stroll, has a picnic, or sit and enjoys the scenery. If you're looking for a place to enjoy the first signs of spring, Amsterdam's Amstelpark should be at the top of your list!

Hi there, I'm Stefanie, the photographer, and author of the blog post you're reading now.
