A venture

Sometimes you have to set out on a path even under adverse conditions. Though this might not always be initially apparent, the venture will show its real face once you venture out. While some are easy to master, others turn out extremely demanding.

And when being on the move, headwind can make walking almost impossible. This quickly raises the question about the validity of one’s decisions. Yet, with the proper intention, the doubts about this venture’s significance will soon fade once you have reached the final destination.

Winter in Amsterdam

I took this photo in February 2021 shortly after moving to Amsterdam. During this time, there was a lockdown and a night curve in the Netherlands which caused life to become very monotonous. However, there also was a winter week in Amsterdam full of snow. You can see the snowy Ruyschstraat in Amsterdam in this photo. It shows people make their way through this urban winter landscape.

Hi there, I'm Stefanie, the photographer, and author of the blog post you're reading now.
